Before starting her own practice Ms. Lester practiced with private firms and government agencies in land use and family law.
Prior to entering the legal field, Ms. Lester worked as a community organizer and obtained a Master’s Degree in Community Planning.
Through working with diverse communities as an organizer, Ms. Lester has developed a unique set of skills that she brings to the
practice of law for the benefit of her clients.
Through her law firm, Ms. Lester has represented a
variety of clients in a range of family law issues, below is a
representative list of the types of cases that Ms. Lester handles:
- Acquiring pensions for one spouse when the other lives
out-of-state
- Assisting a client in obtaining military retirement benefits
from an ex-spouse
- Representing clients in child support, custody and visitation
hearings
- Representing clients in contested divorce cases
- Assisting clients through a non-contested divorce
- Representing clients in obtaining a divorce when their spouse
lives out of state.
In addition to family law, Ms. Lester has represented
individuals and companies in a wide range of matters including
employment law, zoning, and estate administration.
